Leisure World of Maryland is excited to celebrate its 60th diamond anniversary this weekend, Sept. 25-27, 2026.
A sparkling array of activities and events are planned that will entertain and educate residents about everything the community has to offer – particularly its more than 100 clubs that demonstrate the diverse interests and skills among its residents.
Club open houses and displays will serve to showcase every type of club in Leisure World – from the skilled artisans making pottery in our ceramics studio to the active sports groups showing their love of the game to the diverse cultural clubs sharing their traditions and cuisine with their neighbors.
Residents can look forward to a jam-packed weekend of events that also includes musical performances, dances, a parade of clubs, movie showings and much more.
The celebration concludes with an outdoor laser light show – a first for Leisure World!
