Eagerly anticipated by residents, our brand new fitness center in Clubhouse II celebrated its grand opening in September.
Our fully equipped fitness facility is designed to provide a safe workout environment for residents and opportunities to improve their health, wellness, and quality of life.
The new fitness center is twice the size of our previous workout space. Significantly enlarging the clubhouse footprint, the new 5,300-square-foot fitness facility features state-of-the-art equipment and golf course views.

Over the past year, Leisure World of Maryland residents have enjoyed renovated restaurant and ballroom spaces in addition to the new fitness center. Development of a new administration building and further enhancements to Clubhouse I are underway. These improvement projects are part of a comprehensive enhancement plan being implemented throughout our community.

Seeking an innovative and visionary partner, Leisure World worked with architecture firm Streetsense on the design of our fitness center. The Bethesda, Md., firm is also involved with our broader slate of enhancement projects.
