The Terrace Bistro restaurant (formerly The Terrace Room) reopened under new management by internationally recognized food services company Sodexo on Dec. 7. A brief ribbon-cutting ceremony commemorated the occasion.
The restaurant is refreshed, remodeled and ready to serve contemporary casual fare to residents and their guests after a temporary closure for deep cleaning, staff training, and décor upgrades that began on Nov. 1.
The restaurant’s walls have been newly painted, and its ceiling, lighting, sound system, ambiance music and even dishes and silverware have been upgraded. “When you walk in, everything is bright, fresh, clean and welcoming,” said Sodexo District Manager Greg Blumenthal.
New, modern furniture is expected to arrive at the restaurant sometime early next year.
The Bistro’s reopening menu offers a plethora of traditional pub fare such as custom burgers, sandwiches and fries as well as pizza, tacos and other hearty entrée meals as well as lighter fare and vegetarian and gluten-free options.
In the future, the restaurant plans to expand its menu with seasonal specials. Residents and guests can look forward to comfort foods such as pot roast and chicken pot pie in the colder months, fresh strawberry desserts in the summer and apple crisp during peak apple season.
The Clubhouse Grille restaurant, also now managed by Sodexo, will reopen at a later date.
